Vonyetta Taylor

Vonyetta Allease Taylor was born on October 19, 1975. She graduated from Huntington High School Pony Express in 1994. She has worked in numerous places, and has done many different jobs. Her main career is cosmetology. Vonyetta was first licensed in Kentucky and when she moved back to WV, she obtained her license in WV and OH.

She currently manages her own space in the Amby Suites and Salon. Her business name is Vonyetta’s Hair Studio. She specializes in making her customers feel good and look good as well. Vonyetta’s goal is to make unpresentable people look presentable and look their best.
Vonyetta works with her clients by going to them if they can’t get out. She has cut hair in state hospitals, and nursing homes, and has also been contracted by funeral homes.

For the last few years, Vonyetta has donated her time to several places and uses her skills to help those who can’t afford the type of services she provides. Back to school time is her busiest volunteer season as she cuts hair for free at churches, community centers or wherever she is asked to go. Not only does she donate her time and skills but most of the time she uses her own supplies to accomplish this goal.

Daily Vonyetta works towards completing her goal which consists of her giving her all to her craft gifted to her by God. Her long-term goal is to develop a plan to help those whom are walking in a direction that may not prosper them and help them change direction. She believes that presentation is everything and helping to make you look good can also help brighten your perspective on life.

Vonyetta loves working with the public and hopes to soon open her own salon and have space to let others in her field work safely and peacefully doing what they love to do.
