Nathaniel Edward Williams

Nathaniel Edward Williams, 91 of Huntington, WV, answered God’s call on February 11, 2018. Nathaniel was the son of the late Edward Nathaniel Williams and Alice Alberta McClauhan. He attended Barnett and Douglass High Schools graduating as the Class Valedictorian. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army.

After returning home he worked on his love of drafting engineering and design working at Arternetic of North America, Huntington Choir, Polan Industries and Kaiser Aluminum. He also worked at Inco Alloys and Stearns & Rogers in Denver, CO.

He was the grandson of the late Rev. A.D. Lewis. A member of Alexandria Freeman Lodge #3 F&AM 32 degree. Nathaniel loved playing the piano and the guitar. In his early years he taught weightlifting, but most of all he loved teaching Sunday School. He taught Noon Day Bible Study for 26 years.
One of his favorite bible verses was Romans 12:19. He received the honor of being the oldest member of First Baptist Church.
