Frank E. Smith
Frank Smith was born in Huntington, WV in 1939. His early education began at Barnett Preschool and Elementary School, followed by his graduation from Douglass High School in 1957.
Frank joined the United States Air Force, serving from 1957 to 1961. During his time in the military, he took courses from institutions such as Maryland State, Florida State, and Oxford University while stationed in England.
He attended Howard University for three years. His career path began with selling World Book Encyclopedias, followed by a role at Omaha Insurance Company, where he specialized in health and life insurance. Frank went on to make history as the first Black account executive for the Washington Post, breaking new ground in the corporate world.
Frank’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to explore international real estate, where he spent five years selling land in Freeport and other islands in the Bahamas. In 1977, he became a licensed real estate broker and has since built a successful career in the industry.
Over the years, he has supervised about 30 agents and guided countless homebuyers and sellers throughout his career. Remarkably, Frank often offers his expertise without seeking compensation.
With decades of experience, Frank E. Smith remains a highly respected figure in real estate, known for his dedication, integrity, and commitment to helping others achieve their goals.
