Fire Department Administrative Assistant

Carolyn Wright serves as the administrative assistant at the City of Huntington Fire Department, a position she has held held since 2012.

Wright is a 1991 graduate of Huntington High School and has lived in Huntington since the age of 7. She also attended Marshall University and graduated from Mountwest Community and Technical College in 2012 with a medical administrative assistant degree.

As administrative assistant for the Fire Department, Wright is responsible for the daily operation of the Office of the Fire Chief and interfaces with the staff at Huntington City Hall regarding all administrative functions from payroll to purchasing.

Her dedication to duty and diligence to the performance of her duties have created an atmosphere of trust for the sworn personnel of the department.

Wright has created a reputation of excellence among the members of the public by always providing exceptional service in professional and courteous manner. Her performance as the sole civilian member of the Fire Department team has created a lasting legacy of excellence.
