Fredrick Hightower has lived in Huntington for 25 years. He is an artist/sculptor and pastor. Frederick created a full-body sculpture of Katherine Johnson, the West Virginia mathematician who worked for NASA, and was portrayed in the movie “Hidden Figures,” a recent life-size bronze sculpture of Hal Greer, and a life-size bust of Alex Booth, located at the Huntington Museum, and a picture of Pam Bailey, retired principal of Spring Hill Elementary School.
He pastored at Encouragers Fellowship here in the city of Huntington before he was led to establish his present pastorate in Dunbar, WV. at All Nations Revival Center Church.
