Gail Henderson-Staples


Gail T. Henderson-Staples is a lifelong resident of Huntington.  She attended Barnett Day Care, Simms Elementary School, Cammack Junior High and graduated from Huntington High School.  She went on to attend Chatham College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English.  She went on to attend WV University Law School and graduated in 1984.  She came back to Huntington to join her father’s law firm, which is now Henderson, Henderson & Staples LC.

She is a member of The Hearing Panel in the Office of Disciplinary Counsel for the State of WV. Gail is a member of the Mountain State Bar Association, the WV Star Bar Association, the NAACP, and Mount Zion Baptist Church.

In 2020 Mayor Steve Williams appointed her Municipal Court Judge in Cabell County.

She wants to travel more and enjoy life.
