Rosemary Crozier came to Huntington from Low Moore and Covington, VA. when she was 14 years old. She was enrolled in and graduated from Douglass High School. She took several courses at Marshall University. She worked for Southwestern Community Action Council for over 30 years, doing community outreach. She made referrals to other agencies and provided resource information to members of the Huntington community and received a proclamation from Mayor Bobby Nelson in the early ‘90s. She was a friendly and charismatic individual who worked tirelessly in the community.
She was very active in her church, the Original Glorious Church, for over 30 years but moved her membership to Bishop Charles Shaw’s Church, Real Life Christian Center Church, when he began his ministry there. She was a proud member of the Republican Party and a member of the Huntington Branch of the NAACP. For her it was church, community and family.v
