Donald Crawford
Donald Crawford grew up in Huntington and, after completing his studies at Huntington High School, he graduated and entered Marshall University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He worked in the accounting office of the Herald Dispatch before serving as the Program Director at the A. D. Lewis Center. From there he went to work at BASF as a chemical operator and was able to retire when the plant closed. When the plant closed its door, he was afforded the opportunity to go to school for retraining and chose to move into electrical training and acquired a skill he uses to help family and friends. Donald coached Track at Huntington High School and fondly remembers many of the star athletes he had the pleasure of working with. He enjoyed his years of coaching and is now enjoying his retirement.
