Kevin E. and Mary F. Jackson
Kevin and Mary were both born and raised in Huntington, WV. They were high school sweetheart and graduated from Huntington High school – The Pony Express- in 1986. They were married at St. Peter Claver catholic Church in June of 1990. Additionally, both graduated with bachelors’ degrees from Marshall University in the early 90s.
Mary worked for Judge John Cummings, Circuit Court Judge for Cabell County, as a Deputy Courtroom Clerk. In 1996, Mary joined the Beta Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She was an assistant cheerleading coach for Douglass-Cammack Midget Football League.
From 1989 to 2000, Kevin worked for Steel of West Virginia, Inc. as a Human Resources Assistant. He was an assistant football coach for the Douglass-Cammack Midget Football League.
The couple moved to Charleston in 2000 where Kevin works for the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of WV as a federal probation officer. Kevin retired from the WV Army National Guard in 2010 as a Major after serving for over twenty years. Mary has become an active member of the Beta Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in Charleston and helped the chapter raise over $10,000 for scholarships last year.
