Arkell Bruce

Arkell Bruce grew up in Huntington and graduated from Huntington High School. He attended Mountain State University in Beckley and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

Bruce began working with Tri-State AAU as a coach. He also worked as a case worker with the Cammack Children’s Center. He became an assistant coach at Huntington High School and was a graduate assistant with the Marshall men’s basketball team. He became the director of student affairs and coach at Mountain State Academy in Beckley.

In 2009, he co-founded Huntington Prep with Rob Fulton and now serves as head coach.
